Same here. The last memorial talk I gave brought out that 1935 was the cut off date for being part of the 144,000. Then a few months later the Wt. brought out how it seems those of the 144,000 was still coming in. When I saw that all I could do was say I was lying to all who listen to my talk. That was another reason for me to resigned from serving as an elder. Remember one thing the real brain dead elders who will not think for themself are the ones who will talk the talk anything the Brog will tell them without saying to themselves "hey this is a bunch of grap". i was raised a witness, never baptized (yay) and am married to a lovely baptized witness of jehovah.. i had been trying to get back into it due to both our families being j dbs but just never could get it into my heart.

I was hoping for a cure many years ago but now I see this will be part of what makes me Me. I can draw from this and make better decision for myself and my wife. It has help me to learn other things and tie them in to what the Wt. teaches and see they are really no diffrent than any other belief. Yes it has left many scars but I see them now as a strenght. I have learned not to be a victim but to become mature person with real life experience to help others if I can. So no cure just learning to live with what I was born with. Still Totally ADD

Because of the talks we was hearing on the GB I think this was the time my wife and I said "If they replace the Jesus with the GB that will but up a big red flag for us." I guess we did not see that red flag sooner like I was hoping for. It took another 20 years for us to start waking up. Still Totally ADD

I am so sorry for what your grand dad went through. Londo I wish you the best. It sounds like you had a close relationship with him. That makes you a lucky man. This cult takes so much from us and gives nothing back. I am sad for your grand father for this. Because of this cult I never really knew my grand dad's. My parents would not let me know them because they was not part of this cult. I hope you do get to see him again. That is a wonderful thought to hold on to.
